I'm looking for a guitar book concentrating on chords and chord progressions that guides you through and doesn't just give you a grid of chords to practice.
I kid you not the best book for chord theory is Chord Chemistry. The picture of the guy is hilarious. Real hippy looking but just smarter than you'd believe.
He provides charts, but also he explains all the logic behind it, in a very easily understandable way. It's an easy read, and you can use it for years. It starts off at a beginning level, and towards the end get's to very complex, hard stuff. Best chord book I've ever seen though.
